AskHypatia.ai is operated by PRAIY LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built AskHypatia to help people lead more examined lives — not to harvest their data.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and (optionally) your name. This is used to identify you and deliver the service.
Usage data. We collect information about how you use AskHypatia: which life areas you select, which courses and sessions you engage with, and how you interact with Hypatia. This is used to personalize your experience and improve the product.
Session content. The messages you send to Hypatia are processed to generate responses. We store session history so Hypatia can remember context across sessions (Fellow plan and above). You can clear your session history at any time.
Payment information. We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe’s privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.
Technical data. Standard web data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. Used for security, performance, and debugging.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your session content to train external AI models or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Session history is retained to power Hypatia’s memory features. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We use cookies to maintain your login session and to understand how users navigate the product. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly.
AskHypatia is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top. Continued use of AskHypatia after changes means you accept the updated policy.
